Children with SEND are being more readily identified and diagnosed than ever before but the services (across education, health and social care) are in crisis
Public services are buckling under the pressure of increased demand and increasingly employers are looked upon to bridge the gap – wellbeing strategies are an intrinsic (and expected) part of the employee offer and (when well executed) contribute to increased engagement and sense of belonging within an organisation.
Huge pressure is being placed on working parents to (i) support their children (ii) navigate a system that is unfit for purpose and (iii) manage their own health and wellbeing, all whilst holding down meaningful employment.
Parents Empowered exists to support working parents of children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
A lack of publicly funded support means that parenting SEND children can often feel like living life in survival mode; thriving at work whilst navigating broken and outdated systems can be a challenge.

Parents Empowered exists to support working parents of children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
A lack of publicly funded support means that parenting SEND children can often feel like living life in survival mode; thriving at work whilst navigating broken and outdated systems can be a challenge.
Parents Empowered is here to support with:
- Education and awareness raising sessions for organisations to support working parents of children with SEND
- 1-1 or group coaching and guidance sessions, to support with specific issues or challenges
- Guidance to employers on supporting working parents of children with SEND on adjustments and flexibility
